OPSM fit in the middle to upper price range for spectacles in Perth. Most frames are $ 199+ and lenses(depending on your prescription of course) are around $ 250. So it’s usually around a $ 450 investment, then if you have private health hopefully you get a rebate. They stock a range of glasses from lots of brands: Prada, DKNY, Oakley, Ray-Band and more. However the range of deigns are quite basic, with only a handful of slightly unique designs. I got a pair of Prada glasses with a tortoiseshell frame, with turquoise flecks throughout. I picked up my glasses last week and tried them on and the prescription was wrong. Turns out that when they checked it wasn’t made to my prescription’s specifications. So they remade them(no extra cost obviously) and had them ready for me in another five days. OPSM definitely isn’t a cheap option for glasses, but it’s nice to know you can take them back if anything goes wrong, and drop them in for cleaning and tightening every once and a while.
