Bon Laneway

Word on the beat (according to the Courier Mail) is that some of the best coffee shops in Brisbane are in fact, in Ipswich! Don’t fall over people. That was not a typo. And as someone who worked in «the Switch» for a long time, I can confirm that this is in fact true!
Over the past year or two a few new kids have moved onto the Ipswich block. Bön Laneway is one of 3 or 4 notable cafes that are giving Ipswich a new name. With perfectly extracted Black Sheep coffee and serving great bites (I had the prosciutto, gruyère and basil melt) this place is a definite hit with the locals and people who work in the area. It’s tucked into a little laneway on Ellenborough Street, where there are plenty of milk crates outside or tables and chairs inside to sit and enjoy a lazy morning.
This place is simply gorgeous! The food, the service and the coffee are all on par with a place you would find in New Farm or Teneriffe. Visit if you get the chance!
