Daily Planet Comics

Well, I’ve been doing a lot of pubs and restaurant reviews so I thought that I should let my geeky side shine a bit and do a comic book store. Okay, I have visited a couple of other such stores, though they have been more of a mix of games and comic books. The Daily Planet is basically comic books, though the do have some t-​shirts here as well. Mind you, I’m actually not a big fan of comic books, but since I am writing reviews on stuff I thought I might as well step in here and buy something, simply so I could write about something different. They do have a fair range of stuff, though they all tend to be the later editions. Sure, you find the standard DC and Marvel offerings, but they do have a much broader range than that. The guy behind the counter was also pretty cool, though since I am not that adverse in comic books I really wasn’t able to chat to him for hours about the latest Superman offerings (not that I like Superman in the first place).
