Jandakot Airport is a great place to visit if you love aviation, or if you have children who would love to get a great view of airplanes.
Jandakot is considered one of the most busiest airports in Australia, and as soon as you arrive, you realise why! Light aircraft are taking off and landing every few seconds it seems.
There is an area near the control tower and the café where you can drive into, park your car, and watch the runways. This are is on a hill, so the outlook is fantastic.
The café does sell hot food and drinks, but you will have to check their trading hours, as we have been disappointed on one visit when it was closed.
