I’m not the biggest fan of surf shops simply because they mostly resemble each and are always over priced. However independent little surf shops like Classic Surf often have a more carefully selected range of products which means less of the over produced more of the original. The merchandising of Classic Surf is what you’d expect from a hip surf shop, display cabinets filled with cool sunnies, skateboard and surf accessories galore, racks filled with colourful bikinis and stands filled with what the cool kids would wear. One thing that strangely caught my eye was their gorgeous selection of children’s colourful and soft lumberjack hats they were super cute and a great accessory for the coming winter(secretly I wanted them in my size). The girls racks are filled with cute summer dresses from Minkpink, Tigerlily and One Teaspoon, vintage inspired cuts from Seafolly bikinis and the hilarious and not so wearable ultra short Trashwhore shorts by One Teaspoon, because it’s the transition of season you can get all these cuties for close to half price. Awesome clothes and friendly staff probably one of the best surf shops I’ve been to in Perth.

I enjoy this store, I don’t like the big surf shops like City Beach, I think its over priced just because its popular. This little gem is tucked away in Lakeside. It is near the post office and worth the visit if looking for swimwear and surf brands. I walked past and noticed a sale table out the front, which always grabs my attention. I had been looking for some bathers for quite a while and now normally I don’t buy the surf brands, I just think they are over priced. But after a few of my cheap bathers lasting about 6 months or so, I love the beach, I thought maybe something more expensive was for me. I found a pair of bathers for $ 40 they are Roxy and really nice. I have looked in a few other stores and for styles like this they are like $ 80!
