Edith Cowan University

This is my fifth year here so I’ve grown very close to this campus. So many memories (**thinking music). The grounds are always so clean and tidy and even better to look at when the police cadets come for their morning brew! Although there are some really horrible tutors here the amazing ones make up for the others lack of empathy and encouragement, pushing us further to become better students.
The co op is a great place to spend a few bucks with the quirky items for sale. Even has makeup!
There’s is a huge problem with parking here so get to campus ASAP. On some days anything after 9am is going to push you into the overflow parking over the road, even to the shops on some days.
The IT people are really helpful too; I was on the phone with them last night for 20 mins as they fixed an emailing issue for me.
As this is my last semester I will miss this place as I go on to Curtain because stupid ECU lost the paramed contract ~ this is pretty much my only issue.
Miss you already. Thanks for the HECS bill.

Firstly, I enjoy my classes and my lecturers are always enthusiastic. It’s a great place to study, and I’ve made some awesome friends here.
A couple of things though…
Student services are okay, usually helpful, but will sometimes pass you onto someone else, who will then pass you onto someone else again.
The parking also needs to be sorted out. Overflow is often full, and you basically need to lurk the car park for half an hour to successfully nab a spot. It’s shocking, and the inspectors are ruthless!
More food options would be good, however Joondalup does have much more to offer than ML, especially as Lakeside is nearby. Prices are pretty expensive given the customers are mostly students, but I guess they wouldn’t be more than what you’d expect to pay elsewhere anyway.
