This is one of those places that is overlooked and under-rated. I received a little card in the letterbox recently offering a $ 40 dine-in deal. For that price, three of us shared an entrée(Chicken Tikka), two curries, rice, garlic naan, and raita. My friends ordered a side of the Bombay potatoes as well(for an additional $ 7). There was no corkage charged and we happily consumed out BYO bottle of wine with that lot. The food was well presented and delicious. The spice level(as indicated on the menu with one, two or three little chilli symbols) was spot on. We like it hot. There were no other people dining in, but enough space for around 40 people. The two staff are well presented and very personable. A few take away orders happened during our visit, but the place is not busy. And I wonder why, because the food is spot on. I think it’s the location, set back off the street not particularly visible to passing trade, although adjacent to a raft of other take away joints. Even though I only went due to the little card in the letterbox, it was a great find. I would happily return and thoroughly recommend it as an option for a good curry at a fair price.
