Great $ 10 cocktails. I have been here for lunch and brunch. Both times very happy with my meals. Love the beer garden, so nice.

Super friendly little spot that plays some terrific tunes. It might not have the greatest list of drinks and the food is pretty pedestrian, but it’s sincere and comfy. What else does a local need.

Funky little bar come record shop. Good snacks. Cosy. Small. Retro. Nice place to relax on the couches.

What a great venue. Located next to Kensington train station, white rabbit is an unexpected find. One could easily be fooled into thinking its a record store(which it it). But most importantly to me it’s a cool bar to hang-out at. Great at all times… After work Friday — casual Sunday brunch, that turns into lunch, which(yep) turns into Sunday night drinks, which turns into me calling in sick… Why do I go here?!? Yes that’s right. Cool venue… So comfortable you’ll feel you’re at home.

White Rabbit is easily my favourite bar in the Kensington area. It has a record store section at the front of the bar that leads through to a partially sheltered outdoor beer garden with lush greenery. The outdoor section has a split-level layout that separates the tables enough to give each one some privacy, whilst maintaining an intimate atmosphere. There’s always good music playing and the clientele(which is a slightly older crowd) is good and generally wanker free. The bar doesn’t have tap beer, but they do sell long necks, which is a plus.

This pocket of Kensington totally smacks of «Stuff white people like». Thankfully the White Rabbit lacks the pretension that accompanies this sentiment. Located in the leafy village like suburb of Kensington the White Rabbit is a comfortable blend of café/bar/record store. Inside there is a few booths and an A-Z record collection, all for sale. Its difficult to sit down and drink coffee when you’re constantly poking through the vinyl. The bar extends through to an outdoor courtyard which feels like a neighbours well furnished backyard. Offering lunch Wednesday to Sunday the food is «fancy café» e.g. «leg ham, brie, caramelised onion tartlet» and the modern Australian mains are between $ 15 to $ 20. Part of its success is probably its location, which restricts it mainly to locals and die hard vinyl loving alcoholics. There is a genuinely relaxed vibe and is a great place for a sunday afternoon beer with friends. * «All vinyl purchases over $ 20 get a free pick from the bargain bin» As if I needed to sell it more.
