If you’re looking for a high quality Thai restaurant with fresh ingredients and friendly, fast service this is a great place to eat in or take away. The place itself is modern and comfortable, not busy at all when I visited (a Saturday night). The menu was divided into soups, salads, chef specials, curries, stir-​fries, noodles and rice as well as vegetarian options. New to Thai dishes and not keen on spicy dishes, I opted for pork pad thai with chicken skewers for entrée. The food didn’t take long at all which was great. The chicken skewers were accompanied with a delicious peanut sauce; I definitely recommend it. The pad thai was large, with a side of salad, sprinkled with nuts and a generous amount of pork. It was full of flavour and quite filling however a tad salty for my personal taste. In saying that, I left satisfied and couldn’t finish my plate due to the portion size.

In terms of Thai in the burbs, this isn’t bad at all. We didn’t have to wait for too long and the food was quite nice. Only issue was the lack of spice, but that was probably our fault for not telling them what level we wanted.
In terms of Pad Thai, really good! Coconut Rice was right up there with the best. We ordered the Penang Curry which was good, but next time I will definitely make sure we ask for some spice. We will go back though.

Yes its true, I cant speak highly enough of this place. Nestled in the green suburb of Grovely, this Thai restaurant is a cut above the rest. The service is impeccable and the staff, some of the best in town. Never has there been a time where I’ve gone to Thai At Grovely and felt I was being rushed out or thought that the food was not as good as the last time I visited.
When I go here, I make sure I invite some friends so they too can spread the word. For me nothing beats, for starters, the chicken satays skewers. The chicken is so moist and plump and the sauce is so viscous and chock full of peanut. For mains I always order the green chicken Curry. Its served with fresh vegetables and the meat is always tender and never overcooked.
Love this place and you will too.
