If you are like me and can’t forgo quality meat but are on a budget. So many times I’ve lived off tomatoes on toast, baked beans or fish fingers when going through money saving/​no money stage. All the while I will be craving chicken, red meat… or actual fish opposed to the only 30% fish of a fish finger.
But the fact of the matter is that when you are really poor you can’t afford to eat meat every night, right, wrong! I have decided since last Friday, that now every week I am doing all my shopping at the markets. The butcher shop has a vast quality and variety of meat (I saw ox tails) of meat and cheaper prices than you’d find at other butchers $ 10.33 for a kilo of chicken, $ 9 for a kilo of sausages.
