went here last night with my husband as we were stuck in traffic for two hours to escape the traffic, i googled the reviews before going in and people said it was a great local eatery so based on that we went in. Look maybe we ordered the wrong thing i dont know, but we went with duck pancakes $ 6.90 hot and sour soup $ 6.90 and two serves of hainanese chicken $ 16.90 each + rice to be truthful we ordered dishes that we always have ordered from other places as we knew what(or so we thought) it tastes like. the duck pancakes arrived they were so tiny compared to the picture considering we paid the price of what it would cost in the city or the night noodle markets it was mediocre, then the hot and sour soup arrived– it was thick(like gelatinous remains from a roast) and stunk i didnt even dare eat it i sampled a lick from my spoon and was repulsed i left it on the table, the waitress tried to push it towards me and i said i didnt want it, she asked why not and i said i didnt like it, a client came to pick up his takeaway and the same waitress dumped his takeaway order on our table directly in front of me as if there was no one sitting there, even the takeaway client said oh should i take this and the waitress said no leave it– yeah great we definitely feel like valued clients thanks for that wok passion. then the hainanese chicken arrived, a dish we have ordered many times, it was so dry you could barley eat it without drinking some sort of liquid. so when we went to pay the same waitress asked what happened with the soup and i said we didnt like it and that we have ordered the same dishes many times from various other places and have always been satisfied, she tried to ask if i had tried the roast pork from there and i said no its our first time at this restaurant, i then said dont worry about us you have lots of clients here so maybe its just we that dont like it. so that was our experience but we alll have different taste buds, as i said maybe this place has many other better dishes and we just ordered thr wrong thing but as mentioned before its because thats something we generally order at other establishments, i just wanted to share our experience, for the price we paid i was upset we may as well have thrown our money in the gutter as you pretty much pay the same price in the city and get much better food and service. this is my first time reviewing and i dont usually review but i just was so unhappy that i had to

If I could give it zero stars I would. We ordered home delivery. Chicken dishes(honey chicken and lemon chicken) arrived cold and dry like they had been sitting under a heat lamp for 5+ hours and then left to go cold. The spring rolls had a strange taste because of the sauce inside. The price was high considering that the portions were small. To summarize: Worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. Save your money and try somewhere else.

Ordered the Nasi lemak — Steamed coconut rice with boiled egg, anchovies, sambat, cucumber and peanuts with Crispy Chicken Maryland(spiced) $ 13.90. The chicken came separate to the rice and condiments. Also got a papadum! Service was quick — food came out in under 10 minutes. Dish was pretty good. I sampled a few of the anchovies and they didn’t really have that strong flavour which was great as i’m not a fan of anchovies. Good first visit!
