Last night I was privileged to attend a menu tasting at this new restaurant and came away very impressed with the food and ideas Alex, owner and chef came up with. Some of the food I got to sample which I thought were on par with any upper class American restaurants ere the calamari with a sweet chili sauce on top of greens. This one might be a little spicy for some, but I thought the temperature was good for me. His Thai beef was very tasty with peanuts was very nice. The last main dish he served, which was his own invention was poached salmon in vegetable broth server end on puréed mash potatoes, green beans and butter dill sauce was to die for. This should be their signature since he and his partner came up with it. Save room for dessert as they are all made on the premises. Had a trio of lemon tart, eaton mess with raspberry sauce and chocolate hazelnut ice cream. Can’t wait to go back for a complete meal. The problem is which one to choose!
