This place caught my eye as I was wandering past late one afternoon, in need of a coffee and a sit down, and it was empty but it looked like a lovely little place so I went in. Turns out it was empty because it was nearly closing time, but they still happily made me a delicious mocha(I couldn’t decide if I wanted coffee or hot chocolate in the end) and even directed me to have a look around up the back of their shop while I was there. Turns out they have a craft workshop up the back, and sell all sorts of goodies from funky embroidery kits to recycled yarn to vintage style clothing patterns to origami paper to hand made colouring in books! They hold regular workshops in the space which is a concept that I absolutely love. I picked up a few gifts in time for Christmas while I was there. They use local organic milk, and locally-sourced in-season produce wherever possible. And the coffee is excellent! The café had a lovely feel to it, and friendly staff, and a range of inviting looking sweet treats on display — I think I’ll have to go back and sample a few! I was really impressed by this place, and I’m so glad I stopped by!
