Spectacular place, pretty much the most gorgeous interior I’ve ever seen.
Breakfast is hearty and yummy, coffee is excellent. We had burgers for lunch one day (which we all LOVED) and were told those were the «crap» burgers and that we should come back on Thursday or Friday night for their «real burgers». Menu looks amazing.
Today four of us are here for high tea, and it’s excellent. Everything’s freshly made this morning. Quiches, sandwiches, fig and beef cigars, trifle, lime tart, brownies, and pumpkin scones. We’re all stuffed and happy.
Staff are fantastic, always up for a laugh. Great atmosphere. We’ve been back three weekends in a row.

King & Spoon is a lovely little café in the sleepy hills suburb of Lesmurdie. It’s locally owned and they bake their cakes on site — using local ingredients. Their «Peach and White Chocolate Upside Down Cake» is made with fresh Pickering Brook peaches. The café serves home-​style food, open for brekkie, lunch, coffee and cake. Totally Scrumptious!
