Conveniently located right next to Leumeah Station and only a minute from the M5, Wests has something for all the family to enjoy, including a bistro, complete with a kid’s games room, Stonegrill restaurant, Bambu cocktail bar, five outdoor terraces, state of the art Platinum TAB, sports bar, renovated coffee shop and various function rooms.

The Wests Group of Clubs is comprised of four clubs, including Wests Leagues Club. Wests Tennis Club offers authentic Chinese meals and multiple tennis courts for patrons. Country Club Camden Valley is currently undergoing extensive renovations to offer a modern and sophisticated club surrounded by Camden’s beautiful environment. Lakeside Golf Club Camden is rated the BEST public course in the South West and 16^th in NSW and is the perfect venue for a coporate or chairty golf day. Lakeside is also our premium wedding location surrounded by private lawns and gardens resulting in endless photo opportunities.

History

Established in 1974.

The Club first opened its doors for trading as Campbelltown City Leagues Club in August 1974 with a purpose of supporting the Campbelltown City Kangaroos Rugby League Football Club and encouraging sport throughout the community.

It was renamed Western Suburbs League Club in 1987, following the move of Western Suburbs Rugby League Football Club to Campbelltown and the take over of Club operations by Wests Leagues Club at Ashfield. Initially the Board of the Club was formed with a majority of Wests Ashfield directors, but they retired in 1996 and a local Board was elected, a situation that remains to this day.

From this time on, Wests has engaged in continual improvements and extensions to the Club to match its increase in membership. This has included a multi-​level car park, brasserie, function rooms, multiple bars, Café D’lish, outdoor terraces, platinum TAB, and our luxurious Bambu Lounge which was opened in July 2008.
