Located in Liverpool, outside the main entrance of Westfield, Stage Café is a nice, relaxing sort of place to sit and have a snack. It’s most pleasant in the early morning, as you see the harried commuters hurrying to their respective jobs, while you sit down and leisurely enjoy your meal… what is that feeling called, schadenfreude? I’m not proud. It’s a fairly ordinary café, which sells things like burgers, and chips, and sandwiches, and egg + bacon rolls, croissants, etc… but hands down, the best thing on the menu, is their carrot cake. For $ 2.50. Oh my heavens. The other day, I bought 4 slices, and hoarded them carefully at home, only bringing them out as a treat for myself when I finished exercising(counterproductive and totally out of character, but that’s just how good it is!).
