We are a small, family-run motel in the heart of Mackay. You will find our rooms are clean and comfortable and decent substitute for home when you are away from yours. We are the closest motel to the Canelands shopping centre and the Mackay Showgrounds, and we are conveniently just a short walk to restaurants, clubs and pubs. All our rooms include tea and coffee making facilities, ensuite bathroom, fridge, and microwave. Smokers are invited to use our relaxing garden area since all our rooms are NON-smoking.

The paradise Motel is one of the /if not the oldest motel in Mackay. Once upon a time it used to boast the most popular Chinese restaurant in town and was a popular place to start your honeymoon (as described by John Mackay local cane farmer who stayed at the Paradise Motel on the first night of his honeymoon 60 odd years ago) Now days I would not describe the Paradise Motel as one of the flashiest places to stay in mackay, as she is now getting on in years… and the Restaurant has long gone. But we do offer very clean rooms at reasonable Mackay prices.
