Been here before, little has changed. Looks like a restaurant but it’s basic café standard. The pizza was overloaded which caused a soft crust and had different ingredients than on menu(they market that they won best pizza in Australia, probably the worst made pizza I’ve had but the topping did taste nice and healthy). The spaghetti marinara had rubbery squid, very average mussels and was oily and watery. This place definately isn’t Amalfi! Only two stars but one star for being kid friendly and out on the edge of suburbs where no one else is. The waiter was very nice but didn’t even tell us they had a specials board which we noticed on the way to the toilet. The service was good and quick but we were the only ones there!

LOVE! Dropped in for lunch and had such a delightful time. Wine list is excellent. Service is very friendly. VERY kid friendly place with beautiful décor and attention to detail. The food is great and prices just right. What a gorgeous location. Beware store front is small dont miss this place for a great dining experience. Try the cheesecake for sure.

Ever so slightly overpriced, the food is nevertheless outstanding. Their red sauce is molto bene and their risotto is amazing. Parking is a problem(but, then, that is the case in so many places in South Australia). The prices are what take them down a notch; otherwise, highly recommended!

Just got back from lunch. My Husband and I both ordered their Linguine Marinara(seafood pasta) and i have to say that it was too salty. The overpowering saltiness ruined the dish for me and didn’t make it very enjoyable. There was a generous amount of seafood in the dish and there wasn’t much of a ‘seafood’ taste to the sauce(tomato based). At $ 29.90 each, its definitely on the higher price range for a similar dish elsewhere so not great value for money. Sorry but won’t be coming back based on this first experience.

I used to come here on a regular basis when it was formerly Parisi’s. Since its change to Sorelle, the restaurant is largely the same, offering traditional yet modern Italian cuisine. The menu hasn’t seen any significant changes, allowing some great items to be continually enjoyed by regulars. The tasting plate, whilst a little pricey, is always a good place to start, allowing the customer to try a number of different entrees including the salt and pepper squid and grilled prawns wrapped in prosciuto. The bistecca is always a satisfying main, with its impressive size and delicious demi glaze. There are also the standard pizza and pasta items that will sure to please all tastes. Unfortunately, it seems that the staff or management has seen some changes with the inception of Sorelle, and the service has subsequently dropped since the days of Parisi’s. The waiting staff were very friendly and attentive, but were at times confused and forgetful with orders. It also appeared that only one person was covering the floor during the entire time I was there, and it was obvious that the restaurant was in desperate need of some extra help. As a person that works in the hospitality industry, I know what this feels like and was therefore sympathetic. I only hope that they rectify this shortage in staff before their service is compromised any further.

Sorelle, formerly Parisi’s, is a good Italian restaurant with reasonable prices. Located on Magill Road, it’s easy to find a parking space nearby and if you fancy a drink after dinner, you can head just across the road to the Tower Hotel. The food is nothing fancy and definitely not worthy of a Michelin Star but it’s simple, good and traditional Italian cuisine. I’ve tried their Spaghetti Bolognese, which was fine, and their Raviolis, which could have had a little more flavour. Someone sitting on the next table had the Gnocchi and they looked truly amazing, so I’ll give that a go next time. We also had different pizza and garlic bread starters to share and the portions are definitely big enough. I’d say if you want top class Italian food, try elsewhere.(Mind you, I’m very fussy when it comes to Italian food) I do, however, think that the price/quality factor at Sorelle’s is justified. Oh, and staff are very(!) friendly, the inside décor is modern and simple and their espresso’s are great. Overall, I recommend this place and I will definitely go back.
