Krazy Chix BBQ Chickens and Food Bar

OK… so a day at Maroubra Beach and you want to have the classic BBQ Chicken, sorry to say you wont find it at Maroubra Beach… Instead you have have to head up Anzac Parade and there is the little shopping centre where you will find one of the best BBQ Chickens in Sydney, yes I know, its a bold claim.
These guys have been in business forever, and they make fine BBQ Chooks, I don’t know why but they just taste really good, for some reason the ones you buy at the shopping centres always have a funny taste. but these ones don’t, and they claim they use organic sourced chickens, but either way they are tasty, and the meat seems to fall off the bone as they are cooked to perfection…
There is another reason why they are great… the seasoning… mmmmmmmm its better than any I have had at any other BBQ chicken shop.
I would eat the chickens more but well they are salty, and probably a bit fattening, and if I have the chicken… well I have to order the chips… and because they have a decadent sprinkle of chicken salt they are just so moorish…
Don’t fear, they have a plan B at Sydney’s best BBQ Chook shop… the left over chickens are chopped up and they make salads with them, these guys are thrifty as well as tasty chook cookers! There is something wrong with their salads though… a little too much ceasar dressing, too many onions in the BBQ chicken salad, too much fettuccine pasta in the chicken pesto salad… the toppings are cut a bit too big… these problems though are perhaps the secret to the success of the shop the owners are Greek and the style of food is home style comfort food… or simply the salads are delicious
The food here is great value for money too… you wont be hungry, and when you buy a salad here they fill the container right up …

You can get more than one salad in a container, there are no food Nazis here
At Christmas you can buy a bird for Christmas dinner, pretend you cooked it, and take all the credit for the amazing stuffing ;-)
