This is a really nice place right in the waterfront. The food is really nice and the drinks are great. For the price of the meals here though I would have expected a bit more in the way of actual food. I had the beef burger but there really wasn’t much to it at all unfortunately. The old school paint jars as its are meh as well.

The first restaurant I went to when I landed in Australia was Cooper’s Café. Cooper’s faced a gorgeous view of the Manly Bay. They served only during breakfast and brunch hours. I had their Moreton Bay Chicken Burger which was good. I wasn’t crazy about the burger but I loved the café itself. It had a lot of open space and was a great place to hang during a beautiful, sunny day. If you enjoy beautiful scenery while eating lunch, Cooper’s Café is a great place to do so.

I have only been to Cooper’s Fish and Chips once so far but it was enjoyable. The coffee is quite good and the chips are really yummy. They have a great view of the bay, making the eat-in experience fantastic. The service I found to be fast and efficient. I would be happy to go back to try out some other items on the menu.

The coffee and cake is good here — the cake particularly; all made in-house I believe — and it’s a nice outlook, over Moreton Bay at Manly. This business is relatively new on the Wynnum Manly fish and chip scene and I haven’t tried those yet, but I find the marketing pitch of ‘hand-cut chips’ kind of interesting; they’ll need to be good if they want to get a good name in this precinct.
