H2O Aquariums

H2O has a superb range of fish — and probably more range in marines than any of the other stores I’ve visited in Adelaide, tons of tropicals and cichlids, not so many ornamental goldies, and an absolutely huge range of tanks. They don’t have the biggest range of accessories I’ve seen, but they do have just about everything you’d need — and what they do stock is all high quality.
I’m happy to say I’ve heard the staff on the floor talk someone out of a goldfish for a bowl, too, explaining to them that a goldie needs a big tank to be happy in, and that they need filtration to deal with the waste they produce — far too many pet shops are happy to make any sale they can, so it’s really good to see a good aquarium store doing the right thing.
There’s a small on site carpark, but it can get quite full in popular times, if you’re heading west along Grand Junction Road I recommend turning at the lights just before Amazon, the side street is much quieter to park on and just a stroll from the shop.
