It was raining. This was a disappointment because the view from our table would have been pretty boss. My wife had informed me that Billy’s on The Bay was a favourite place for wedding receptions and was know as a place for an a-​la-​carte meal.
When we were there I ordered a steak that was absolutely melt in your mouth fantastic and my wife ordered a roasted duck in plum sauce that I coveted after I demolished my steak.
Unfortunately I have been told that Billies will be no more as their place of business, that also includes the Waltzing Matilda motel will be demolished in the next month. However I will keep an ear out to find out where Billy’s might move to.
