Hoyts Highpoint is a good cinema in the inner west. There are plenty of cinemas which means plenty of movie options. The cinema has everything you would think. A candy bar and some toilets. I must say that when I went to the toilets the male toilets were a bit gross.
The highlight of Hoyts Highpoint is the Ben & Jerry’s ice cream bar so that is a definite win for the cinema (step it up Hoyts Melbourne Central).

Honestly a Hoyts or Village cinema in a suburban shopping centre isn’t going to be the bees knees. The staff are friendly and efficient with a smile.
The cinemas were updated around ten years ago and it’s
kinda showing. Saying that despite the high volume of patrons they are always clean and comfortable.
The candy bar is pricey but you expect that right? The best part is the Ben n Jerry’s ice cream bar ovum the front. You can take your ice cream goodness into the cinema. Yay for cookie dough ice cream.

This Hoyts have a good array of movies and times on offer. This cinema is conveniently located within the large High Point Shopping complex — and have great restaurants surrounding it. Many of the restaurants do dinner and movie deals where the tickets are $ 10 to $ 12 if you buy a meal (beats paying $ 18.50 for an adult ticket).
The theatres themselves are kind of outdated and the screens are not that big. The seats are fairly old and do not recline like many of the newer theatres. They do not do reserved seating but I noticed that they are introducing it soon. Every time I’ve been, we’ve had the theatre pretty empty, which is nice!
