This spacious café in an old service station(I think that’s what it is!) makes good use of it’s expansive outdoor area. It’s not leafy and green but more urban and somehow reminded me of Bangkok. After marvelling at how cheap the menu was(smoked salmon bagel, $ 3.90 are you KIDDING?!), I was chuffed to see a note on the chalkboard menu apologising for their first price rise in 10 years– of 10c — 50c. Bless… So WITH the massive price hike you can still get a toasted sandwich here for a lazy 3 bucks or a milkshake for 3 fiddy. My soy piccolo & veg burger came to just under $ 10– you can’t get a piece of bread for that in Bondi! Sorry to say the coffee was pretty bad, they don’t clean the milk pipes and it was weak. The burger was great though, lovely roast veges on a cheapo soft hamburger bun(a guilty pleasure of mine). I’ll be back for food for sure!
