Love it, friendly staff and very good value for money. The Ms Freepour breakfast is huge and delicious. They make a seriously excellent Dutch coffee. The food is really constistent — nothing fancy but yum every time. Their baristas are great, coffee tastes good even when just grabbing a take away.

They have upped their game. More sweets, better atmosphere, and Pablo & Rusty coffee!

The coffee is excellent and the staff are all very friendly. They remember regular’s orders well. The food is delicious and very good value. It has a comfortable and communal atmosphere which fits in perfectly with the rest of Marrickville.

Not what it used to be. Coffee is fine and the breakfast is decent but the salads used to be wonderful now they’re bland and not so fresh :(

With a clear focus on coffee, Free Pour Espresso is a cute little café opposite the post office on Marrickville Road. The houseblend coffee is great and sold at reasonable prices. If you’ve got a sweet-tooth, you won’t even need a menu — just check out the yummy treats on display in the glass cabinets. Their pecan tart — a smooth combination of delicious pastry and an amazing pecan topping — is to die for. Alternatively, if you’re after something more satisfying for lunch, I loved the vegetable frittata. It was a lovely combination of flavours, yet still light. If you can’t find a car park on Marrickville Road, try parking behind the piazza in Silver Street and walking through the back entrance.
