I stopped into Mister Minit to have several keys cut for my new apartment, something we all need done from time to time. They told me upfront there would be about a fifteen minute wait. No problem, there is a Boost Juice, K-​Mart and Teks all in the Metro… I think I can entertain myself for fifteen minutes.
Thirty minutes later I returned and they hadn’t even started on my keys. Not a great way to get repeat business. After waiting an additional 20 minutes, I was finally on my way with 8 keys for a total of just over $ 60.00. When did the cost of having a key cut skyrocket?
