Halcyon

I’ve only ever been here twice but have been keen to try and support the new business on the block.
The coffee is the crowning glory here, as the menu is skewed towards breakfast fare — lunch options are a little limited and tend to run out quickly, not sure whether this is due to the venue being newish or because of its size.
The poached eggs are unreal, and a fairly generous portion. What’s nice about this place is that they don’t charge for Sparkling Water when you dine in. Their house made sodas are also quite the treat.
Service is so so. It’s easy to feel like the staff are a little overwhelmed, friendly enough to take your order but you don’t really get the feeling like you’re building some sort of rapport with them to want to become a regular — hopefully this is just an early days issue (or maybe it’s just me, sad face).
Overall, it’s a welcome addition to the Mascot coffee scene, much better than the other offerings in its proximity — definitely pick up a coffee here if you’re in the area.

Great coffee great location and a new business worth supporting. a friendly greeting welcoming conversation. A great asset to the area ill be frequenting regularly. A new business so things changing and growing but this is a great place already to have my weekends begin, and with the early opening I can even grab a coffee as I leave for work on weekdays.
