Greasy awful and overpriced. Do not bother with this place its worse than foodcourt asian food.

Mediocre food. The attitude of the staff is worse. We were kept waiting at the order counter for around 5 mins bcos the staff was talking and goggling with each other with us standing just in front of them. The server might have confused the plates with frisbees because she threw them rather than place them on the table. Never going back… I checked with my friends they had similar experiences and stopped going there in spite of limited options in Mawson lakes. Wish they had let me know earlier… Would have given 0 stars if i could

I’ll be honest with you — Mawson Lakes was not somewhere I would think to look for authentic Asian cuisine… and it still isn’t really. But this place was okay. My Pad Thai was quite reasonable and my friend’s Thai Green Curry was tasty too — although had some pretty Western veggies thrown in. The atmosphere inside is like most take away joints — the emphasis is on taking your food away rather than eating in. I found the wait for the food to be fine — and was pleasantly surprised by the tastiness of my meal. Overall, I can’t recommend that you make a special trip to try this place. But if you’re nearby, it certainly does the trick.(Actually rather perfect for taking home and eating in front of the telly)

It sounds like it has it all, a small asian restaurant in the heart of Mawson Lakes. With a combination like this you would have high expectations. Upon entering I was astounded to see the large amount of customers. All the waiting seats were taken and by all accounts it appears that this is a popular local restaurant. I placed my order and managed to find a recently vacated waiting seat. The wait was a considerably long one, and the other customers were clearly getting irritated. The staff behind the counter were talking among themselves and no one seemed to be doing much. Two customers queried how much longer they would wait but were advised they should get their food«soon». One customer got the wrong order and decided to get his money back and leave rather than continue to wait for them to correct it. When I eventually received my food I had no complaints. It was hot and delicious, but I question whether it was worth the wait. I suppose if you’re local to Mawson Lakes it’s closer than going to Chinatown. If they could get their orders out quicker and more accurately, and if the staff could at least appear to be busy, I could see myself turning this review around.
