This was actually a really cool coffee shop, especially having spent the last couple of hours hiking around the harbour, it was a great place to simply sit down a rest with a nice hot cup of tea. It actually has a really nice outdoor feel about it, and is quite a relaxing place to spend a quiet afternoon. Okay, the tea wasn’t as great as someplaces that I have been to(it was a little too strong for my liking) but the staff were really friendly, and the place was quite open and airy. They also have an outdoor area with some reasonable views. Okay, it’s not the easiest of places to find, especially since it is a bit out of the way, and I discovered quite by accident. However it is a great little place and I’d have no problems coming back here again.

Showed up at 9.20p on New Years Eve, without reservations. Had drinks in our hands within 10min, and they were delicious(and doubles)! Farzen greeted us with warmth, and we left to watch the fireworks with warm hearts and warm spirits. Open air seating area kept a nice summer breeze blowing through the place. Ambiance was mediocre. Bar did not have a shaker. Limitations, but not bad in a pinch.

Took 15 minutes for a coffee. Food took an hour and then we found a hair in it so had to wait even longer for the replacement meal. Food just isn’t good enough to justify the wait. In an area like McMahon’s Point with so many other great places to choose from this WELL below par and just not worth your time.
