Established in 1998.
Based in Melbourne, the Animata String Quartet is a professional, experienced and well presented group of musicians who are committed to providing high quality music at a range of important occasions.
Our members studied at The University of Melbourne, Australian College of the Arts, University of the City of Basel and Bern University of the Arts, Switzerland. They have played with groups as varied as the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, Australian Chamber Orchestra, Bern Symphony Orchestra, City of Granada Orchestra, Basel Chamber Orchestra, Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra, Australian Pops Orchestra, Victorian Concert Orchestra, Australian Classical Players, Geminiani and Junge Philharmonie Koln.
