Busy sandwich bar with a great hot food/​salad bar out back. Very reasonably priced and everything is good — take away or eat in — plenty of seats.

The wait staff was nice. For drinks we got orange juice (didn’t taste very fresh), hot chocolate (meh), and I got a cappuccino… I guess my taste in coffee leans to a stronger brew than what people in Melbourne like… Starbucks should clean up here!
Food we got– toast with jam and butter, tasted like it should. Granola — that was actually good. And we got Roti with spinach and cheese — under seasoned.

Want to know where i’ve had the best coffee experience?
Kinetic is one of my Top 3 (C’mon, did you really think I have only one favourite?). At Café Kinetic you will find great coffee, great people and a pretty decent meal.
The staff are a real breath of fresh air here, Sometimes i think they are all family! They talk, joke, bicker just like a typical dysfunctional family; It’s pretty funny at times.
The coffee here is great, but Kinetic is popular so be prepared to wait as there is usually a line for coffee.
Up the back of the Café you can find a decent salad bar and hot food, for $ 12 you can get something along the lines of Lasagne with a choice of salads.
Café Kinetic is not your average Coffee shop, its one of the best in Melbourne’s Northern CBD.
