This coffee shop is Melbourne through and through: hard to find, cool staff, dark atmosphere & great coffee. Good place to buy coffee for home too — freshly roasted beans come in every Tuesday and the staff are more than happy to talk to you about the different styles. Have never eaten the food, so can’t make any comment on it.

Located under the Intercontinental Hotel in Flinders Lane this is a vibrant little café with great coffee and café fare.
With mood lighting and dark furniture it almost feels like a wine bar, and given its warm and cosy atmosphere I could see myself nipping in here for the odd winters coffee.
