We also offer a mobile sharpening service for our salon clients who need only call to arrange a booking. Our mobile service can sharpen your scissors on the spot.

Hairdressers are also offered replacement hair scissors if they need them.

We also carry a very wide variety of brand new high end professional salon shears available for purchase. The range includes slicing shears, texturising scissors, razors, clippers and trimmers. We source our scissor products from the very best Japanese and Korean manufacturers and offer a huge variety of internationally recognised scissor brands. My name is Edward and I am the owner of Edward Scissorhand Sharpening Service and I have been a bladesmith for over 25 years.

My life revolves around creating the perfect edge on cutting blades. I specialise in sharpening hairdressing scissors, clipper blades, chef’s knives and dressmaking scissors.

Salon scissor clients can call me for our premium mobile sharpening service where we can do the job on the spot.

I’ve had the honour of sharpening knives belonging to some of the best chefs in Melbourne who have become loyal customers. My japanese hand sharpening techniques utilizing diamond wet-​stone is world leading.
