Glue is the sort of place that sells the idea of city/beach chic. Beach-bum chic, if you will. They sell all the usual brands that you’d need to complete the ‘I’m a skater, but I also like to look smart’ look. For example: Le Specs, G-Shock watches, Adidas, G-Star, One Teaspoon and Lulu & Rose. The room is full of those sorts and you’ll also find the clothes are also pretty expensive. Which always seems like a bit of a paradox for these types of stores. Selling the idea of being free but really having to work like the rest of us to earn the money to wear the clothes. There’s not a lot that’s cheap. It’s all very much in the $ 80 for a top range. Which, does make sense for One Teapsoon. But it doesn’t really make sense for the type of customer they would have strolling through their doors. Perhaps people with money. Actually, a lot of that makes sense. If this is your style, and you have money to spend, then this would be a great place to grab some sneakers and tops. It would totally fit the bill. Hang ten, guys, hang ten.

Ahhh ‘Glue’. A favourite spot of mine for some quality time with my credit card. ‘Glue’ provides high end brands and products to the people of Melbourne with a fresh attitude and great customer service. At ‘Glue you will find the likes of: G-Star, Lee, Wrangler, Freshjive, Elwood and more, a store that brings together great names and allows you to rummage through the best picked items and take home some great new pieces. The store is located just on the verge of the QV building but is easily accessed from Swanston Street. They have crazy offers sometimes like they have a newly appointed sales idea where you will recieve ‘$ 50 off’ a pair of demin jeans if you bring in an old pair of yours! Wicked!
