The fried rice noodles(kway teow) from the lunch menu is fragrant but not spicy enough. Comes with Chinese sausage &3 small prawns, plus an intact fried egg on top which is a novel touch.

we thought we’d give Laksa House a shot. I got the Black Bean Pork Ribs Claypot with noodles. It was big and saucy and really quite nice. There was also plenty of pork which wasn’t too fatty either. The noodles were soft and silky, which is just how I like them. The waiter told us that they have a lunchtime special where you get a free drink with your meal. Score. The service was polite, be it a little slow considering they weren’t packed at all. It’s hard to compete against Pancake Dessert House, which is located just opposite Laksa House in this little arcade. Dessert house is noticeable busier, offers more dishes and is relatively cheaper. However, I wouldn’t have a problem with coming to Laksa House again, but probably only has a backup.
