I have been such a fan of this place for a long time. Authentic, delicious Korean food — plenty of options for spicy and non-spicy food lovers. However, the last few times I have craved Korean food, I’ve actually opted to try other places, because the queue for this place has just gotten out of hand. Finally gave in with the most recent K hankering, arrived at 5:45 on a Sunday night. Waited about 30 minutes, while trying not to give the evil eye to people sitting after their meal, not talking to each other, playing with their phones. Food wise, can’t go wrong with the seafood pancake — this thing is huge! Make sure you have allowed space for it on your table and order accordingly(who am I kidding). Fried chicken is pretty good too, but in my opinion not the best KFC player in Melbourne. Soups are my favourite offering here: spicy seafood, kimchi tofu, spicy beef soup and the blood sausage soup a few favourites. I do personally like the pork«rip»(rib) soup but it really is too labourious, effort to reward ratio doesn’t quite pay off. Other highlights: bibimbap and bulgogi also good standard options. The side dishes are ever changing, you can ask for seconds. The only thing I’d suggest is do not go to the bathroom if you can help it. It really is not a pleasant experience. Service a bit hit a miss but for cheap and cheerful, I’m not here to soak up the ambiance. Overall: although this place always has a special placeholder in my stomach — you’d really have to be in the mood to justify the queuing when there’s plenty of other options on offer in Melb.

I tried to make a booking for 6 however I was told that they don’t take booking reservations. So we had to queue up to be seated. We were given a table of 4 therefore it was very uncomfortable to fit 6 of us. The waitress would try to squeeze the dish on the table(even when half of the plate is not on the table) and walked off. Eventually we ran out of space, so our food was left on a plastic chair. This is an insult when we paid over $ 170. We were told that they can’t add an additional table. These people don’t use their brains. When we looked around, we could see customers who are seated at a table of 4 when there are only 2 or 3 people. This is an insult !!! I would not recommend anyone to go as the waitress are rude and have no manners. They should be a shame of themselves.

Reasonably tasty food at good prices, with VERYLARGE portions. We came here for lunch for two, and had the complimentary banchan, seafood pancake, kimchi stew, and half portion of the fried chicken. Man, the portions here… We had to take away some of the food because we just couldn’t finish them. I think a party of 3 would have been much better to eat what we ordered. The kimchi served in the banchan was reasonably yummy and fresh. The seafood pancake was so so so large and thick, I think the ratio of veggies to batter was probably 10:1. The kimchi stew was flavorsome and porky, and very very large again. The fried chicken came with some salt, and my friend really loved it, but I was blasé about it. The toilet here is quite atrocious, given you have to step through the oily kitchen floor to get to it. Mind your step, come here with a bunch of friends, and enjoy yourself!

Best Korean food outside Korea. Place filled with Korean people. Food is very delicious, authentic and the prices are reasonable. You get lots of food for it. Delicious side dishes and sauces. Can be difficult to get seats during holidays or on weekends.

Unbelievable queues every night come for the massive serves of standard fare like pajeon, bulgogi and bibimbap. If u can get in you’ll have a great time!

Really casual and affordable Korean restaurant. By casual I mean you have birds flying around the store. I loved the japchae — it lasted me 3 meals! The bibimbap was delicious and satisfying, and my spicy potato and pork bone stew was mediocre. I would love to come back and try more items on the menu! This place has a great range of menu items if you are craving Korean without fuss.

Always delicious. The spicy pork spare rib soup is our favourite. Service is attentive(alwAys helps to go with a korean speaker). Food quantity is generous, reasonably priced for good food. Can get really busy so get there early to avoid lines.

A Korean restaurant bustling with activity, really good for chatting. We got together and had a jolly time! The space is not big enough to hold too many people, but I guess what’s why it feels so lively
