Cheap and nasty last minute gifts a plenty are to be found here at this run of the mill souvenir store located in Melbourne’s CBD right off Swanston street. You probably should have shopped around a bit to come up with some more imaginative presents but if you haven’t there is nevertheless plenty to choose from.
Amongst all the tacky gifts there are some really funny ones. The blow up boxing kangaroo — Tekken style — has to be a personal favourite.
This really is the commodification of Australian culture and you can perpetuate it even more shopping here.

It sure is a collection. There are souvenir’s a plenty at this store, it’s also on prime real estate on Swanston St, right near the Flinders St corner. Basically serving as a reminder for those who have completely forgotten to buy people presents but are about to head home.
It’s full of the expected Ugg boots and Koala-​shaped everything.
Apart from the Ugg’s it’s all very cheap. There’s not a lot that isn’t cheap about this store. We all know that you’re meant to buy these types of things for your friends and family back home. But as soon as they have it in their hands they’ll be able to tell you ran out of money.
None the less, I’m sure your siblings back home will appreciate a boomerang and a ‘party animal’ road sign. God knows that’s a terrifyingly accurate account of Australian culture.
