TRAPT Bar and Escape Rooms

GREAT staff! Kelly, Violet and Domme took such good care of my crew, we decided to do another room! All in all seven of us did three different rooms and had an absolute blast! What a rush! The rooms are well crafted and fun, the atmosphere of the whole place is super cool, the drinks and the staff are lovely. Do yourself a favor while in Melbourne — we will definitely be back for the fourth room!

Close to the heart of the city, Trapt offers a good variety of different themed escape rooms and has a full bar with snug old school décor.
You can make bookings online and have a maximum of 6 people per room. The more people you have the lower the price.
We organised 2 groups and booked the BioHazaard and the Prison Break room. Neither team made it out «alive» but we were all buzzing and everyone said they would go back.
It was lots of fun and requires a lot of team work but also you need to work autonomously to gather as many clues as possible. There are puzzles, codes, numerical clues and the aim is to make it out to the bar before time is up!
I was in the Prison Break room and honestly it was dark at first and my heart was racing so I clenched my friends hands pretty darn hard!
The staff come in and provide clues and the front door is always open so for those who are adventurous but still scared, don’t worry… or perhaps you need to be as there is an indemnity waiver!

Our group (of 4) attempted the BioHazard room. We were unsuccessful, but that did not ruin the experience. It was challenging, but still provided enough small victories through the puzzle to keep us motivated. The staff even were willing to give clues when we were stuck. The bar itself is great too! With lots of cocktails and unique beers to try, everyone can try something new. Don’t forget to get a picture in the frame on the way in :)
