When I was in Melbourne, I was casually just crossing the street when I noticed this place. Not particularly hungry or a massive doughnut fan, I decided I wanted one of these only due to the fact that it was called«Walker’s» and my boyfriend’s last name is Walker(if only all my life decisions were this easy). I have to say — what an absolute little gem of a place! I got a jam doughnut and it was freaking DELICIOUS. If I had a Walker’s near me locally I think I’d be eating doughnuts more regularly.

I had a Jam Donughnut here. It was a nice jam doughnut, it tasted so good! The filling on the inside and the crispy skin outside was so good! It’s a little tiny store on the corner and they open 24 Hours, so that’s a definite plus. Donut selection is a bit limited but not too surprising considering the location. Service is very quick. Take away only! Prices are reasonable.

Good donuts but not exactly a huge selection. And they don’t have any bottles or cartons of milk which is weird. I had a chocolate something with sprinkles which tasted very fresh on an early Sunday morning in Melbourne. Would have liked to see a coconut donut maybe.

Very fairly priced, solid selection, and great taste. A little corner store that’s usually easy to get in & out quickly. Highly recommended!

The hot jam donuts are really something! Go there and try at least one of them. Or why not 6 for $ 6… Soooo good!

An almost perfect glazed yeast donut! Not perfect because the bread quality varied between our visits: light and airy to dense and heavy.

After a big night out, was feeling a little peckish, and was not disappointed at all. Classic glazed and a Jam doughnut were bloody beautiful. Will come back for sure!

Tempting, convenient, take away breakfast on the go — 1 Health kick — 0 Had a plain sugar donut, and well, it was just a plain sugar donut. Not bad, but not making me want to go back for more. As much as I’m not a massive donut fan to start with(it’s probably been over 6 months since I partook in donut eating) I think I prefer donut king.

I honestly can’t beleive I never knew about this place before what an absolute gem of a find they have the best donuts in Melbourne by far, There hotdogs are to die for I’ve yet to find a hotdog that replicates what you get in America but this comes very close to it. I Love how they are open 24 hours a day everything is always fresh & the smell there is nothing better than the smell of fresh donuts. The coffee was ok but I didn’t come here for that so they can be forgiven for that although for the money you pay it was worth it.

A casual scroll from Southbank is the donut institution called Walkers. When you take a bite of any one of their fine flavors — jelly filed, glazed, icing topped, whatever, you are taken to sweets heaven and every bite takes you further into donut bliss! You cannot stop eating just one! Next time you walk by flinders st station, make a quick stop at Walker’s — take some home for the kids or your mates at the office! Krispy K who?

Hot jam-filled sugar-dusted doughnuts made just for you! Walker’s, you had me at the doughnut part. If there’s a heaven, warm Walker’s doughnuts will be on the menu.

They’re on the street corner by the station. Commuter dreams in freshly baked and sugared donuts. You have to wait 120seconds, but thats because they’re fresh for you. Jam donuts like your childhood memories only SO much better. Cheap, quick, happy-making. And only yards from Young & Jackson if you need to cut the sugar with a alcohol. But actually without Y&J you’d just be stuck there eating(awesome) donuts all day. Probably the best in the world. Melbourne is spoiled. These could take a Krispy Crème and wipe the floor with them. They are VERYVERY good.

The donuts here are consistently delicious. The downside is the horribly rude staff won’t make them for you depending on how close to store closure time it is. Came here an hour before closing once and they refused to make any fresh donuts! But when you can get them they’re great. Hotdogs are pretty decent too. Also have a few international drinks: Cherry Coke, Dr Pepper, etc

Doughnut shops should be reviewed on the basic doughnut and ingredient and taste. Not by someone who thinks it’s a hotdog stand. Just because a Chinese restaurant offering chicken chow mein, should not be reviewed on that dish, should it? A fool should be treated as such. This is possibly the best doughnut shop in Melbourne, if not in the entire continent. Certainly better than anything in NY, LA, SF, HK, or the entire Europe. Try the simple cinnamon sugar doughnut on the counter for $ 1.20 each. It’s perfect. You’d want to take a dozen home. Cream-filled doughnuts, which is not my favorite doughnuts, were also best I had anywhere. Eclaire, which is a size of my shoe for $ 5 uses real cream and dark chocolate, yet not as sweet as you’d expect or want. It will feed a whole cricket team(the sport I still don’t get it — makes baseball game seems like a contact sport). I’ve been here twice in three days. My jeans are getting tighter by minute.

I came here once after midnight to finish a big night out, and what a way to end it! These donuts were amazing! I got 2 hot jam donuts, and was kicking myself for not getting more. They were fresh made for me, coated in sugar and filled with jam. These were perfect, the outside was slightly crispy, the inside was soft and airy with the perfect amount of jam to accompany it(although I’m a jamy kind of person, so i would have liked a bit more). I love a good hot jam donut, and this place does them real good!

There really is nothing like a doughnut from a place called(blank) Doughnuts. I mean, they really have to mean doughnuts to have doughnuts in the name. Especially the jam filled winners that you see people walking from Walker’s Doughnuts with. Service can be slow in busy times, and there is often a queue of waiting persons, but the wait is well worth it. Why oh why is it that those who are known for one thing attempt other things? Hot dogs and the like, I wouldn’t risk it. Coffee can be hit and miss at the best of times(it may have been the amazing doughnut that made the coffee taste so sweet). Doughnuts — end of story. Get in and get back out into the city with a sugary piece of magic. There’s not really room to sit anyway.

Ambiance: This spot is a small little shop that sells hot dogs, doughnuts, and coffee. There’s no door or any protection against the harshness of nature so at about 6PM, while I was sitting there and waiting for my hot dog, I was absolutely dying with each freezing gush of wind. DEFINITELY not a nice place to sit down and have a pleasant meal. Take your food and GO! Customer Service: …They forgot my order when there were barely any other people in the shop. Otherwise I would probably have given them 4 stars. I was sitting there for about 15 minutes empty-handed while the employees were standing around not doing anything until finally they remembered my order. Food: I ordered Double-Bacon Hotdog, which had ketchup, mustard, 2 bacon strips, shredded cheese, onions, hotdog in a bun for about 6 dollars. It was decently filling and pretty good, but I’d like it if the hot dog was a a bit warmer. The hotdog was plopped on after the cheese and bacon and onions were added so it kept falling out :/A bit strange since it’d be much easier and cleaner if the hot dog was was added in after the condiments… Overall, I did enjoy my hot dog and would come here again, but after forgetting my order I can’t give them another star.
