Now known as Mermaid Sushi. Overall not bad, I would go back. It’s a small place that seats 30 to 40 people. The food looked and tasted fresh and had not been sitting around long. Not the cleanest place I’ve been in, but it’s not a dump either. Prices are fair and the food is tasty, and the staff are friendly and welcoming.

This place is a hidden gem. Beautiful sushi. The fresh stuff is really fresh, and the deep fried stuff are crunchy and warm. I particularly enjoyed the Baku Dan (see pic) even though I don’t usually go for the deep fried food. The chicken avocado is my friend’s favourite, and the unagi nigiri is not to be missed if you like eel.
The staff are very friendly, and it is not over crowded — although my friend and I came here for lunch on New Year’s Eve.

Great sushi, byob from the bottle shop a few shops down. Delightful people with a great atmosphere, quick service and just the right finesse. Awesome experience.
