Midland Japanese Kitchen

This place has fabulous service. There regulars just order «the usual» and the staff take care of the rest. This to me is always a good sign, as it means that people love it enough to come back over and over again, and the staff care enough to remember who they are and what they like.
I had some form of fried chicken on rice and enjoyed it, although there was something about the flavour that I didn’t particularly love. The miso soup I had was a «spicy» version for the day, which I was also undecided about. I feel like I should go back and try something else, alas there are so many options at lunchtime in Midland.
