Wife and myself have visited this restaurant for lunch on about 6 occasions and enjoyed it each time, definitely not flash but clean and the food is great, always has people/customers there, majority are Asian which is usually a good sign, food is equal to any Vietnamese restaurant we’ve eaten at in Perth. For us it’s very close as we live in the adjoining suburb. Definitely recommended.

First timers and we enjoy our lunch… service was great… entrees should come out first than our mains… likely to return…

My visit to this little place started with, «I know a really good Vietnamese place. It looks a little dodgy but the food is good.» and I was all in at that point. I looked it up on Unilocal and hit up Google and away we went. We got in during a busy lunch hour and were lucky to get in. We arrived just as a large group was leaving. Despite it being busy, staff were attentive and it wasn’t a long wait for food. Ten minutes tops. It’s been months since I’ve had a good bowl of phở and I wasn’t disappointed. It was perfection. A broth balancing full flavours and subtleties. There was also a generous provision of bean shoots, oriental basil and mint. I can see why this place won best phở. I am based very much south of the river when in Perth but will definitely make the trek back here for phở.

I have been here countless times. If the weather even hints rain I’m going to be dining at this place! Food is flavoursome and not diluted and commercial like some other Vietnamese restaurants. Service is fast and they aren’t shy on toppings, and even if you want more just ask! It’s not fancy, it’s intimate and homey for me. I’m Vietnamese so I know what good Viet food entails. When I miss my mums cooking this place comes pretty close to the real deal. They’ve also won a few awards so that’s gotta count for something! My favourites are the Phở Dac Biet and Bun Bo Hue :) Check it out!

not the most hygenic place, they had tea towles in toilet to dry hands which were well used and smelled, children running in and out kichen, god knows what goes on behind the door of kitchen we use to go there wth previous owners which was better best to tread wih caution on this outlet

This has to be one of my favorite Vietnamese restaurant because it is one of only a handful in Perth that makes a tasty finger licking good bánh xèo and it is authentic. What is a bánh xèo? It is a savoury pancake made of rice flour, water, turmeric powder, stuffed with slivers of fatty pork, shrimp, diced green onion, and bean sprouts. Add mint leaves, basil, herbs and wrap it in lettuce. Dip it in the sauce, open your mouth and take a bite. I use my hand/fingers — the food gets into your mouth a lot faster. Other dishes to try: bún bò hu and bún rieu. You can’t leave a Viet joint without trying their phở and com tam(broken rice) as well. Value for money and great food. It’s also a cash only joint. Enjoy.
