Love it! The food was fantastic, and the presentation on the plate was just as good. I don’t usually notice(or care) what food looks like(the same way I don’t usually care what fine art tastes like), but for some reason I liked the way this café plates their food. I like the hip motif and all the colours, too. Good outdoor seating, with the beach right across the way.

Probably one of the best cafes I’ve been to as its in an amazing spot and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Food is lovely although can be cold if you’re sitting outside in the wind and the eggs Benedict wasn’t the best, just needed more flavour. But other then that it was fantastic

I’m lucky enough to have Deep Blue Café as my ‘local’. It does a bit of everything. You can grab breakfast, lunch or dinner or even just the newspaper. You can duck in for a coffee, some takeaway chips or pizza. Or on the hot nights, it’s great to pop in & grab dessert — they have a good selection of ice creams or check out the dessert/cake cabinet. YUM. The food is good café food. The service on our last visit was particularly good, as they managed to squeeze us in when they were pretty busy & still looked after us very well. Over the busier months, it does pay to ring & book. Don’t be afraid to ask for an outside table, even when the weather is a little cooler, as they have café blinds that they put down to make sure you don’t get blown away from the sea breeze. Having said that, the indoor tables also have a cool, beachy/rustic feel. They used to have live music on occasion & may still do, I’m not 100% sure. But either way, Deep Blue Café is a good spot to visit on a drive down south or after a day playing at Moana Beach.

Went to Deep Blue Café for dinner and we both enjoyed our meals. I had a curry and my partner had the rustic pie. He said it’s the best meal he’s had out for a while now and mine was divine too. The service was very prompt and very friendly. The coffee at the end of the meal was pretty damn good too. We will be back.

I’m not a fan of the beach. Sand is one of the most annoying things I’ve ever encountered(besides everyone’s love of the show Big Bang Theory). However one of the gems at Moana Beach is the Deep Blue Café. Situated right on the beach front it gives off this contemporary atmosphere for a clean cut dining experience. Serving up delicious foods that fulfil that beach going experience with salt and pepper squid to snack on. Crispy chips with that sprinkle of salt, splash of vinegar, and squirt of sauce. Come here to have a fresh cup of coffee after a long sunny day of frolicking on the beach. Then top things off with a thick and creamy cheese cake. After this cuisine a long nap was needed.
