First-up this place was busy for a Friday morning. To me that’s a good thing. It’s an «Order at the Counter» system at Eat It and they were very efficient and pleasant taking my order for five people. The food and drinks turned up promptly including five fresh squeezes juices and several coffees. The breakfast was tasty and well liked, the Bircher Muesli received high praise in our group. It would have been 5 stars but the coffee wasn’t perfect, we’ll be back none the less.

We have only ever been to Eat It on weekend mornings and if its anything like its during the week and you want to get a morning seat then get here early. Saturday and Sunday mornings are bicycle city as its stop over for the Penisular riders who have probably completed a lazy 30k ride. Locals also bustle for a spot at the communal table inside or one of the outdoor tables. Operating since 2007 this café is operated by Paul Gibbs and Dan Davidson who between them have extensive experience in the food and hospitality industry particulary within catering. Try the Brekky stack with grilled ham, tomato, baby spinach, eggs and pesto. My ‘Eat It’ favourite is the Bircher Muesli with berry and yoghurt all portions are massive. As prewarned its very popular as its a busy shopping precinct in Mona Vale but when you do get there and receive your order I promise you will savour every morsel.
