History

Established in 2002.

Current owners took over the establishment in 2008… The owners family were the original owners of the very well reputed Lindos Greek tavern located on Keilor Road, Niddrie established back in 1992. From the age of 12, the owner developed extensive knowledge of the Greek cuisine and hospitality services which has led to the great success of her current venture at Meltemi.

The restaurant provides quality fresh produce cooked whilst you wait. Menu also includes a range of authentic oven baked Greek specialty dishes. Great tasting Greek delicacies with friendly service to match. We look forward to welcoming you soon…

I have had dinner here as well as a private function. After having tried other similar restaurants in the area in search for a function venue, it was a winner without a second thought. The food is everything you would expect when looking for excellent traditional greek cuisine, without a fault. The service is also great and the staff and management are very friendly, providing customers with a fresh and relaxed enviroment. I’ll be back!

Friendly, helpul staff and delightful BBQ Roasted Seafood Slouvaki along with the myriad of choices gave us a near perfect night. Roasted vegetables would have added the finishing touch!
