The fact that I check in here often says it all. It’s one of my lunching go to’s! I get their banh mi’s. They’re not traditional banh mi’s but what they’ve done to it is friggen delicious! They have these nutty spring oniony condiments that just work, plus other bits and pieces. If you like spice I recommend you ask for extra chilli — makes it so much more awesome. Besides their dim sims(which I might also add, are yum too and again, ask for extra chilli!), haven’t tried much of their menu. That being said I think they’ve pretty much made their mark on moonee ponds as the goto banh mi place. Love the lady that makes the rolls there. She is mega nice and works really hard — I mean I’ve been there on weekends too and she’s still running the shop! $ 6 for a roll fyi

My MP’s go to for BBQ pork or chicken rolls(or mixed, try it!) Quick, friendly service, 6 bucks and you’re done. Made slightly differently to the norm with red onion &BBQ sauce, but the ladies are happy to substitute /remove items if you ask :) If you’re early you can grab a seat, but most folk just get take-away. Queues can go out the door once it hits 1230, but you’ll never wait long. Fun fact — the Dim Sims are pretty good too, and they have a heap of other stuff on the menu I’ve never tried, but will one day!

Bahn mi and the dim sims are winners! Unfortunately I cannot comment on the rest of the items from the menu other than to say that the usual suspects are there including phở and rice paper rolls. Every time I have come I’ve been in the mood for roast pork bahn mi so I haven’t ventured further into the menu. I personally don’t think that I need to! I’ll be keeping up my regular visits here!
