Fantastic! Efficient! Friendly! I could never imagine saying this about any other airport in the world! Either way, Geraldton Greenough airport is new, clean and runs smoothly. I have experienced 2 delayed flights in the last few years, in saying that– I was well informed and it was still a pleasant wait. From check in to boarding, staff have smiles and that’s what you normally get from country towns. you do not feel like you’re being ‘eyed’ through security because even security are polite and friendly. The café/bar inside the terminal serve yummy toasties whole you await your flight. Virgin Austalia and qantas link fly into this airport and there are plenty of hire cars if you need them too! Best thing is, it’s only a 10 minute drive to the city centre.
