Graham who owns this place is a ‘character’. He’s a bit curmudgeonly but he’s always been polite to me. Perhaps it’s because his shop acts as a thoroughfare from Military Road to Bridgepoint behind, who knows. He’s a proud supporter of the Community Bendigo Bank, so his heart is in the right place even if he does breathe fire sometimes. There’s a lot of good here. The shop provides a whole heap of services and is a real lynchpin provider in the area. They’re well stocked on newspapers and magazines and will seek out overseas title if requested. They do a great range of kids games, toys and magazines, as well as learning to read books and puzzle books. It’s actually a good place to head for a last minute kids pressie if other places are closed. Cards, Stationary and arts and crafts things are good too. They also sell bus tickets and stamps. The only real letdown with this place is that they haven’t sold me a winning lottery ticket… yet.
