Established in 2010.

Local residents Peter & Catherine Young (and their female German Shepherd Hoshi) opened Pet Station in Feb 2010 in the Mount Waverley Village Shopping Centre. We are located just across from the Mount Waverley Train Station.

We intended to create a new class of Pet Supply Retailing. Our Premises are modern, clean, organised and spacious with a large range of quality Brands for sale. Your shopping experience with us will be a pleasure not a chore, with wide aisles and logical product category displays. And YES, your Dog (s) are welcome to come and shop with you inside our store.

Our Dog Grooming Salon, has to be seen to be believed!

Pet Station is a deliberately pet free pet shop. In recent times, puppy farming and kitten farming has come to the fore and sparking protests against the ethics of breeding farms. If you are someone who objects to this (or even just objects to seeing five or six puppies scrambling over each other in a metre square box), then this might just be the pet shop for your little one.
So you won’t find the free-​rabbit-​with-​any-​hutch purchase. Or fish with fish tank. You won’t get child pressure into buying that gorgeous little kitten, either, just good service.
Because demand for fish products tends to be low if you’re not actually selling them (and the same for rabbits, guinea pigs etc.) the range is much smaller than the dog/​cat range. They also do dog grooming.
