Love yelo in Trigg… and so happy that we have another yelo around the corner from us in Mt Hawthorn! Friendly staff & amazing coffee!

Irritating hipster staff who don’t pay attention. One person in the café on the leederville carnival day, ONEPERSON. ONE PERSON. And you ignore them and don’t even get their order properly when it’s ready.

My regular. Friggin awesome crew behind the counter, as friendly a bunch as you’ll meet, and the coffee has never disappointed, which is more than I can say for plenty of my other haunts. Can get busy early in the day but you can text orders in to avoid the wait.

Can’t believe I only just visited this Yelo for the first time ever today! I was pleasantly surprised. It’s essentially a little hole in the wall café, but they had rows of wraps, paninis, and gorgeous looking savoury and sweet breads(rye, banana, coconut) mmm can’t wait to carb-load on those bad boys after the wedding. Speaking of, it would be good if they had a salad, or ideally more than one salad. The coffee was very good and the staff were vibrant and friendly. There is very little seating, just two stools and a beach inside and a few seats on the pavement out the front. Will be back here for lunch on the regular now.

I made the mistake of ordering a large coffee and it was very milky with most of the coffee taste gone! Will order a small takeaway next time. The service was great and friendly.

Very average coffee made with a small Wega machine. I have never had a good coffee from a small Wega… ever

My local! The staff are so unbelievably friendly and lovely. Great coffee, freshly squeezed juices and I got a vegan wrap the other day which was bloody delicious. LOVE that they sell the paper too which makes it a one-stop-shop in the mornings.

This is Yelo in Trigg, minus the copious seating and the sea views. They still have all the same goodies, and the same delicious coffee. The signature Yelo disposable plates and cups make more sense here though — there is only a couple of seats so it’s not somewhere you stick around.

Now the reason I am not rating Yelo Kitchen in Mount Hawthorn a 5⁄5 is only due to the fact that Yelo in North Beach is next to the ocean, bigger in size and a greater variation of smoothie and juicing choices. Stopped by Yelo for a catch up with«the ladies» for a coffee, juice and small treat. We luckily managed to grab the biggest table outside at around 11.00am when the crowd had slowly started to die down. I had a delicious date ball with a carpark juice(orange, carrot, ginger, celery) and a SLM. Coffee never fails to impress and the juice was fresh. Although food wasnt ordered had a look through the choices and the infamous mushroom wrap is available as the majority of other menu items that are offered by North Beach. There was also a wrap with chicken and banana on offer, very interesting and looking forward to trying the combo. Only miss as I said previously is that the juices/smoothie items are slimmer as well some other items such as the«whole coconut» but lets be honest if you are not sitting by the ocean or in the privacy of your own home who walks around the suburbs drinking a whole coconut! Staff are very friendly and I am thrilled Yelo have opened closer to home — especially come the winter months where a trip to the beach is far from few.

I am a massive fan of the original Yelo and this is definitely living in its shadow. They don’t sell all the same products as their West Coast Hwy store which is mildly annoying when you have a craving and head out of your way and leave empty handed. Still a great coffee and barrister however I will stick to the original Yelo.

Yelo has brought its sunny disposition from the coast to this new location in Mt Hawthorn. The grotty lunch bar that went before it is one very distant greasy memory. Drop in to Yelo for creamy Fiori coffee goodness or a delicious, fresh handheld brunch. Also worthy of your coin are their smoothies and oversize home baked muffins. Just look out for the signature yellow stools!
